Commercial Security Services
As a business it can be difficult to find a dependable and trustworthy key-holder to carry out daily locking and unlocking of
your premises.
Our service provides the facility for opening the premises for lone workers or deliveries at short notice. This service is
especially appropriate on days when the premises are not usually open, i.e. weekends or bank holidays when sending a member of
staff would be expensive, unsocial and cause security issues.
The Association of Police Chief Officers (APCO) official policy states that any alarmed premises must have at least 2 key
holders and and that one must be available at all times and have transport. Your alarm receiving centre is not allowed to inform
the police of alarm activation unless they are able to send a key holder to the premises.
Safeplace Keyholding offers alarm response and de-activation, meaning that should your alarm be activated, the alarm company
can respond, our response guard can attend, and the Police can be notified.
If a serious problem is discovered, we will inform either yourself or a nominated contact and seek further instruction.

inconvenience and unnecessary costs of emergency locksmiths and replacement locks.
The Safeplace Manager will, on proof of ID, help you gain access to your premises.

Security Checks
For peace of mind when your property is unoccupied we can make periodic checks on your behalf to ensure it is secure.
This service is only available if we are the key-holders to the property.
NB: We do not operate a security guard service.
Key Cutting
We can get extra copies of your keys cut and delivered to you. Simply let us know your requirements and tell us where you
would like them delivered. Requests for delivery to a third party would require written authority.
Contractors
Take away the uncertainty of hiring someone from the phone book by using contractors who are key-holding partners, whom we
trust. Our contractors are vetted for insurance cover, reliability and quality of work and are subject to capped rates.

Contractor Charges
As a general guide, for all standard tasks a flat hourly fee is charged. Free estimates can be provided for non-standard
tasks prior to commencement of the work.
